Halloween Scarecrow Project Sheet - Updated Clearance Rack

I am having so much fun with the Cookie Cutter stamps from the Holiday Catalog.  Here is a fun Halloween card using the Cookie Cutter Halloween set.

Supplies:
  • Stamp Sets – Cookie Cutter Halloween (142252-Wood, 142255-Clear), Here for You (141541-Wood, 142164-Clear), Hardwood (133032-Wood, 133035-Clear)
  • Cardstock – Whisper White (100730), Crumb Cake (120953), Pumpkin Pie (105117), Pacific Point (111350), Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper (142022)
  • Stamp Pads – Basic Black Archival (140931), Crumb Cake (126975), Soft Suede (115318)
  • Misc. – Woodgrain Embossing Folder (127821) Layering Circles Framelits (141705), 5/8” Burlap Ribbon (141487), Aqua Painters (103954), Neutrals Markers (131261), Brights Markers (131259), Linen Thread (104199), Big Shot (143263), Glue Dots (103683), Liquid Multipurpose Glue (110755), Dimensionals (104430), Stamping Sponges (141337)
Measurements:
  • Crumb Cake: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 folded in half, 4 x 5-1/4
  • Whisper White: 1/2 x 3 & scraps
  • Pumpkin Pie: 2 x 4
  • Pacific Point: scrap
  • Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper: scrap
Instructions:

  1. Ink Hardwood background stamp in Crumb Cake ink - stamp on 4 x 5-1/4 Crumb Cake layer - sponge edges with same ink.
  2. Emboss Pumpkin Pie layer in Woodgrain embossing folder - adhere to Crumb Cake layer.
  3. Die cut Pacific Point scalloped circle and Designer Series Paper circle with Layering Circles Framelits in Big Shot - adhere together.
  4. Trim Burlap Ribbon ends on a diagonal - adhere to Pumpkin layer.
  5. Add circle layers to card front with Dimensionals.
  6. Stamp greeting on Whisper White strip with Soft Suede ink - trim banner end - apply to card front.
  7. Stamp scarecrow with Archival Black ink.
  8. Apply markers to a non-pourous surface - like a piece of ceramic tile or your stamp case.
  9. Pick up color for the larger areas of the scarecrow with Aqua Painter and apply to image.
  10. Color in smaller images like the patches with markers.
  11. Tie a bow with Linen Thread - add to scarecrow with a mini glue dot.
  12. Adhere scarecrow to circle layers with Dimensionals.
