• Stamp Sets – Cup of Tea Bundle (158667); Watercolor Shapes (156968)

• Card Stock – Basic White Thick (159229); Basic White (159276); Blushing Bride (131198 

• Stamp Pads – Blushing Bride (147100); Granny Apple Green (147095)

• Misc. – Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper (DSP) Hostess (159161); Deckled Rectangles Dies (159173); Organic Beauty Dies (158983); Dimensionals (104430); Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Silicone Craft Sheet (127853); Bakers Twine Essential Pack (155475)

Measurements:

• Thick Basic White: 4-1/4” x 11”

• Basic White: 2-3/4” x 4-1/4” for Deckled Rectangle; 1-3/4” x 2-1/2” for Cup; 1” x 1” tag

• Blushing Bride: 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” 

• DSP: 1-3/4” x 2-1/2” for cup

Instructions:

1. Fold Basic White Card in half.

2. Die Cut the Blushing Bride with the Diamon Shaped Mat and attach to the front of the card using Multipurpose Glue.

3. Cut Cup Pieces from the Cup of Tea Bundle dies. Solid Cup from the Designer Paper and cut out leaf design from the Basic white. Glue together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue

4. Cut the Rectangle from the Deckled Rectangle Dies and stamp the greenery towards the top portion of the card using Granny Apple Green. Stamp the flowers in Blushing Bride

5. Stamp the Oval in Granny Apple Green for under the cup. Lay and lift cup for position.

6. Attach small length of White Bakers twine to the back of the cup and the other end to the tag using glue 

7. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Teacup and attach to the card

8. Add Rhinestone Basic jewels to the tag and a few of the flowers.

Celebrate World Watercolor Month

Did you know that July is World Watercolor Month?

Well, now you know! I basically love any reason to celebrate a holiday! Stampin’ Up! has SO many ways that you can use watercoloring techniques to create beautiful projects. 

Here is a fabulous video that shows you SEVEN techniques for watercoloring! The presenter gives you the colors of ink she’s using, as well as the supplies needed for each of the seven techniques. I learned so much watching this great video!

Awesome, huh? Sometimes I forget how easy it is to watercolor and I love that it is a forgiving technique cuz sometimes it's ok to color outside the lines. lol

Measurements:

• Sahara Sand Card Stock: 4-1/4” x 11”, scrap for Mushroom House

• Rustic Harvest DSP: 4” x 4” of the Mossy Meadow swirl design

• Basic White Card Stock: (2) pieces 4” x 5-1/4”, scrap for sentiment, scrap for cloud template

• Storybook Gnomes DSP: piece containing gnome of choice

Instructions:

1. Fold the Sahara Sand card base in half and use bone folder to flatten the fold. Set aside.

2. Die cut a cloud template from a scrap of card stock using the cloud shaped die in the Basic Borders Dies. Use a blending brush and Balmy Blue ink to create clouds on one of the 4” x 5-1/4” pieces of Basic White. 

3. Use the rounded edge border piece from the Basic Borders Dies to create grassy hill like pieces from the swirly green Rustic Harvest DSP piece. Adhere these to the lower edge of the cloud piece.

4. Stamp a mushroom house on the scrap of Sahara Sand card stock and die cut shape. Apply color with Stampin’ Blends: Dark Papaya to the mushroom top, Dark Petal Pink to the underside of the top, and Crumb Cake (dark and light) to the window trim and door. Apply Fine Tip Glue to the window panes and the door knob and allow to dry.

5. Stamp Happy Birthday (from the Peaceful Moments stamp set) on a scrap of Basic White with Black ink. Die cut shape using the Painted Labels sentiment die.

6. Die cut a gnome from the Storybook Gnomes DSP.

7. Adhere cloud piece to the center of the card front. Adhere the mushroom house, gnome and sentiment using dimensionals. Add adhesive backed gems.

8. Stamp remaining piece of Basic White card stock as desired and adhere to the inside of the card.
