Spirited Snowmen Project Sheet

This is one of my favorite stamp sets in the Holiday catalog.
I love snowmen and these are so animated ... they just scream 'FUN'.  
This card also uses the Blizzard Thinlits Die to emboss the white background. I hope you enjoy this project!!

Spirited Snowmen

  • Stamp Sets– Spirited Snowmen (wm-148075; cm-148072); Buffalo Check (wm-147797; cm-147794)
  • Cardstock – Balmy Blue (146982); Whisper White (100730)
  • Stamp Pads– Balmy Blue (147105); Memento Black (132708)
  • Misc. – Sparkle Glimmer Paper (146957); Multi-purpose Adhesive Sheets (144106); Blizzard Thinlits Die (147902); Big Shot Embossing Mats (146327); Layering Circles Framelits (141705); Stitched Shapes Framelits (145372); Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon (144213); Stampin’ Write Markers (Real Red, Balmy Blue, Pumpkin Pie, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Crumb Cake); Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets (147801); Dimensionals (104430); Big Shot (143263) 
Measurements:
  • Whisper White cardstock: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” for card base; 
    3-7/8” x 5-1/8” for embossing; 3” x 3” for die cutting; 
    Two pieces ... 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” for embossing & stamping Buffalo Check
  • Balmy Blue Card Stock: 4” x 5-1/4” 
  • Sparkle Glimmer Paper: 4” x 5”
  • Multi-purpose Adhesive Sheet: 4” x 5” 
Instructions:
  1. Score Whisper White cardstock at 5-1/2”; fold in half for card base.
  2. Apply Multi-purpose Adhesive Sheet to back of Sparkle Glimmer Paper ... with glimmer side up, run through the Big Shot with the Blizzard Thinlits Die (Set aside to use snowflakes as stickers).
  3. Use the Blizzard Thinlits Die with the Big Shot Embossing mats to emboss 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” Whisper White; cut in half (save 2ndone to make a 2ndcard).
  4. Stamp Buffalo Check on 2ndpiece of Whisper White with Balmy Blue Ink; cut in half (save 2ndone to make a 2ndcard).
  5. Use the Big Shot to cut the largest scalloped circle from center of Balmy Blue cardstock (set aside).
  6. Adhere embossed white cardstock to top of Balmy Blue cardstock (covering scalloped circle opening).
  7. Adhere checked piece to bottom of Balmy Blue cardstock.
  8. Stamp “winter cheer” in lower right corner of Buffalo Check.
  9. Wrap 5” piece of Metallic Edge Ribbon around front covering seam; adhere ends to back of Balmy Blue cardstock.
  10. Adhere layered piece to card base.
  11. Stamp snowman with Memento Black Ink on 3” x 3” Whisper White cardstock.
  12. Use the Big Shot with the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut out snowman.
  13. Color snowman as desired with Stampin’ Write Markers.
  14. Adhere stamped circle to Balmy Blue scalloped circle.
  15. Adhere layered circle to card base with Dimensionals.
  16. Use piercing tool to lift snowflake accents from Sparkle Glimmer Paper and adhere to card.
  17. Add Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplet to center of snowflake accent.
