Measurements:
  • Year of Cheer DSP: 2-3/4” x 2-3/4” of leaf piece
  • Copper Foil Sheet: 2-3/4” x 2-3/4”
  • Whisper White: 5-1/4” x 4”, 3-1/2” x 3-1/2”, 2-5/8” x 2-5/8” (this will be the base upon which you build your framed piece)
  • Fresh Fig: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” (card base), 3-1/4” x 3-1/4”, 3” x 3”
  • Adhesive Sheet: 2-5/8” x 2-5/8”
Instructions:
  1. Lay the detailed star die on the Copper Foil piece, lay the frame die on top, cut out and punch out all the inner pieces of the star, including the 4 small squares. Set the frame piece aside to use later.
  2. Repeat step #1 using DSP piece. (you won’t need the frame piece, just the punched out pieces).
  3. Peel off top layer of adhesive sheet and place on top of 2-3/4” x 2-3/4” Whisper White piece. (sticky side down). Save this top layer to use in step 4. Rub over the adhesive piece to make sure it is stuck to the WW piece. Carefully peel off the top adhesive layer. Take the Copper Foil frame piece from step one piece and lay on top of the WW “sticky” piece.
  4. Using the “waxy” piece saved in step 3, lay on top of the frame piece and rub to make sure your frame is stuck down well.
  5. Start placing the punched out pieces from steps 1 and 2 inside your frame in the desired pattern. Don’t press down until you are happy with your pattern.
  6. Put this piece into EF and run through Big Shot. Adhere this piece to the smallest Fresh Fig square piece.
  7. Rub Embossing Buddy over large WW piece. Using Versamark ink, stamp “have yourself a merry little Christmas” onto bottom. (Be sure to leave enough room for your die-cut image.) Pour embossing powder on top, tap off excess and heat using Heat Tool. Adhere this layer to the card base.
  8. Using SNAIL, adhere piece from #6 to the WW square and then adhere this unit to largest Fig square.
  9. Run several lines of SNAIL over the back of piece from #8. Adhere Copper Metallic Thread all over the back, letting it stick out from the sides all around the frame piece.
  10. Put a dimensional in each corner of piece from #9 and adhere to card front. Place one Clear Faceted Gem in the center.
