Mingle All the Way

Here is a great holiday card that is cheery with bright colors,
crisp with nice lines and just a little holiday bling.

 

 

SUPPLIES:
Stamp Set:
Mingle All the Way (wood-135770, clear-135773)

Ink:
Jet Black StazOn (101406)

Paper (including cutting dimensions):
Whisper White (100730): 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"; 5-1/4" x 4"; 2-1/4" x 3-1/2"
Real Red (102482): 3-1/4" x 2"; 2-1/2" x 2"
Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper (133693) - green with white circles piece: 5-1/4" x 1/2"
Fancy Foil Designer Vellum Silver (133364) stripe piece: 5-1/4" x 1-3/4"

Accessories:
Big Shot (113439)
Large Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (133739)
Chalk Talk Framelits (129983)
Scalloped Tag Topper Punch (133324)
Rhinestones Basic Jewels (119246)
Markers: Real Red; Pear Pizzazz; Pacific Point; Coastal Cabana

Instructions:
1. Fold Whisper White card base in half.
2. Emboss 5-1/4" x 4" Whisper White cardstock using Polka Dot embossing folder and Big Shot.
3. Attach striped vellum to bottom of card base. TIP: Only place adhesive under the silver stripes (to prevent from being seen).
4. Attach green strip covering seam of the above two pieces.
5. Stamp "Wishing You Holiday Cheer and a Happy New Year" stamp with Jet Black StazOn onto small Whisper White cardstock.
6. Cut stamped piece using Chalk Talk framelits and Big Shot.
7. Use markers to color words. 

8. Punch both long sides of both Real Red pieces using Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.

9. Layer stamped image onto largest Real Red punched pieces.
10. Attach smaller Real Red punched piece horizontally underneath step 9 piece.
11. Attach to card front using dimensionals.
12. Place two rhinestones on top of final stamped piece.

Gentle Peace Christmas Card

Gentle Peace Christmas Card with Blendabilities

 

SUPPLIES:

MEASUREMENTS:

• Card Base is Coastal Cabana cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.

• Whisper White is used for both images, the banner is 3/4 x 4.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Using the Lucky Stars embossing folder emboss the card base.
   
   
2. Stamp the Nativity image on a scrap of Whisper white with Memento.
   
   
3. Stamp the words on the Whisper white piece that is 3/4 x 4 inches.
   
   
4. Color the image with Blendabilities.
   
   
5. Cut out the Nativity image and adhere to card base with dimensionals.
   
   
6. Cut the word image into a banner and then curve with your fingers, apply to card base with a dimensional.

This card was made with the newly released stamp set, Gently Peace. 
I love the stained glass effect using our blendabilities.

Christmas Card + Weekly Deals (Oct 21-27)

Christmas Tree Card

Supplies:

Stamps: Festival of Trees 135059
Ink: Old Olive 126953, Daffodil Delight 126944, Early Espresso 126974, Cherry Cobbler 126966

Marker: Chocolate Chip from neutrals collection 131261
Cardstock and Paper: Whisper White 106549, Old Olive 106576, Cherry Cobbler 121681 and Early Espresso 121686

Accessories : Lucky Stars Embossing folder 135817 and Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Diamonds 125585

Measurements:

Cherry Cobbler card base 8” x 11 ½ ”, scored at 5 ¾”

Old Olive 3 ¾” x 5 ½”

Whisper White card stock 3 ¼” x 2 ¼”

Early Espresso card stock 3 ½” x 2 ½”

Instructions:

1. Score the Cherry Cobbler card blank and cut the additional pieces of card.
2. Emboss the Old Olive piece with the Lucky stars embossing folder.
3. Using the 2 1/4” x 3 1/4” piece of Whisper White ink up the tree in Old Olive and then use the Chocolate Chip Marker to colour in the tree trunk and stamp. Then, stamp the star in Daffodil Delight, the baubles in Cherry Cobbler and the pot in Early Espresso.
4. Adhere the Whisper White card to the middle of the Early Espresso card and attach to the front of the card as shown.
5. Decorate the Cherry Cobbler Baubles with the Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details allow to dry.
