Stampin' Up! is retiring the My Digital Studio program on June 2nd.

Digital Downloads (which can also be used in other programs) are all 30% off between today and June 2nd. Find them HERE.

Retiring List Coming Soon!!

Just a quick post to let you know that on Tuesday, April 21st, the Stampin’ Up! Retiring List is coming!  You’ll have a last chance to order some of those great stamps and accessories you’ve been dreaming about. 

Many accessories will be offered at 25% to 50% off!  Be warned:  Some supplies will sell out very quickly, so plan to shop early for the best selection!  Once these products are sold, they’re gone for good.  Even things that don’t sell out will be gone when the NEW Annual Catalog comes out on June 2nd. 

The 2013-2015 In Colors will definitely be on the retired list. This is to make room for the NEW 2015-2017 In Color products.  If you have ink pads in any of these retiring colors, I would encourage you get the refills so you can continue to use your favorite colors.

Sea Street Birthday Card

Supplies:

• Stamp Sets: Sea Street (133985w or 133988c), Itty Bitty Banners (132022w or 126257c)
• Paper: Night of Navy (100867), Real Red (102482), Whisper White (100730), Maritime DSP (133696)
• Ink: Night of Navy (126970), Real Red (126949)
• Other: Big Shot Die Cutting Machine (113439), Bitty Banners Framelits (129267), 2" Circle Punch (133782), 1" Square Punch (124094), 1/8" Mini Brads (122941), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

Measurements:

• Night of Navy cardstock (8-1/2" x 5-1/2" card base)
• Real Red cardstock (3-7/8" x 5-1/8")
• Whisper White cardstock (3-11/16" x 4-15/16", scraps for punch/die)
• Maritime DSP (eight 1" squares)

Instructions:

1. Adhere the (8) DSP squares to white panel - trim off excess from the sides.
2. Adhere white panel to Real Red cardstock and then to folded Night of Navy card base.
3. Stamp "octopus" in Night of Navy. Cut with 2" Circle Punch. Adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
4. Stamp “happy birthday” in Read Red on scrap of white and cut with Bitty Banners Die & Big Shot.
5. Add mini brads to cut out banner.
6. Adhere banner to card with Stampin' Dimensionals placed only on left end of banner.
7. Enjoy!

WATERCOLOR BACKGROUND using an

ACRYLIC BLOCK

This is a quick and easy way to create a one of a kind watercolor background with the help of your Stampin’ Write Markers and an Acrylic Block.

SUPPLIES:

Stamp Set:

     Love & Sympathy (122795-w)

Card Stock  (including cutting dimensions):

     Whisper White (100730), 2-3/4” x 4-1/4”

Ink:

     Jet Black StazOn (101406)

Markers:

     Tempting Turquoise (131259-all 10 markers from Brights Collection)

     Island Indigo (131262-all ten markers from Regals Collection)

     Elegant Eggplant (131262-all ten markers from Regals Collection)

     Tangerine Tango (131259-all 10 markers from Brights Collection)

     Real Red (100052 or 131259-all ten markers from Brights Collection)

Accessories:

     Clear Block D (118485)

     Stampin' Spritzer (126185) filled with water

INSTRUCTIONS:

1-  With your markers, ‘scribble’ a 1/2” block of each color, one above the other, working your way from the bottom of the Clear Block to the top, completely covering the Clear Block with ink.

2-  Generously spritz the Clear Block with water and ‘stamp’ on the piece of Whisper White card stock, pressing the Clear Block very firmly until the colors are ‘smooshed’ together and the ink has saturated the card stock. 

3-  Stamp the image of your choice over this background using StazOn Ink and then layer it onto a full Whisper White card, using Stampin’ Dimensionals to set it up a bit.

Simple and clean.
