Botanical Blooms Project + Weekly Deals (3/29-4/4)

Did you know you can create your own background paper using stamps?
Here is a beautiful spring card using the Botanical Blooms stamps to create the background paper.

Botanical Blooms

Supplies:

• Stamps: Botanical Blooms (140757), Teeny Tiny Wishes (128748w or 127802c)
• Ink: Mint Macaron (138326), Blushing Bride (131172), Pool Party (126982)
• Paper: Blushing Bride (131198), Mint Macaroon (138337), Pool Party (122924), Whisper White (100730), Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (135315)
• Misc: Big Shot (113439), Botanical Builder Framelit Dies (140625), Word Window Punch (119857), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246), SNAIL Adhesive (104332), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Mini Glue Dots (103683)

Measurements:

• Blushing Bride: 4-1/4” x 11”; score at 5-1/2"; plus scrap for large flower
• Mint Macaroon: 4-5/8” x 3-3/8”; plus scrap for leaves
• Pool Party: scrap for flower center
• Whisper White: 4-1/2” x 3-1/4”; plus scrap for sentiment
• Glimmer Paper: 1" x 4-1/4”

Instructions:

• Stamp your “background paper” using the Botanical Blooms stamp set and all three colors of ink. I like to start with the largest image, and work my way to the smallest image.
• Stamp sentiment in Pool Party ink, and punch out using Word Window Punch.
• Cut out your flower and leaves using Big Shot and Botanical Builder Framelit Dies.
• Assemble your card as shown in picture. Use mini glue dots to adhere flower and sentiment to glimmer paper.
• Add a rhinestone to the center of your flower.

Bunny in a Basket

Measurements:

Whisper White Thick cardstock: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”

Mint Macaron: 4” x 5-1/4”

Whisper White cardstock: scraps

Crumb Cake : Scrap

Instructions:

1. Emboss Mint Macaron layer using Decorative Dots embossing folder.
2. Adhere to card front.
3. Die cut Crumb Cake cardstock on the Berry Basket die; cut on score line so you have one panel for the front.
4. Stamp Bordering Blooms with Soft Suede ink on front of berry basket and sponge edges with same.
5. Tie Mint Macaron/Black Baker’s Twine around the basket several times and tie in a bow; adhere basket to card front.
6. Stamp bunny face and ears with Basic Gray ink on Whisper White cardstock scrap - punch with 1-1/4” Circle Punch and Festive Flower Builder Punch.
7. Using Q-tip, add Pink Pirouette cheeks; color inside of ears with Aqua Painter and Pink Pirouette ink.
8. Add a little Wink of Stella to the inside of the ears.
9. Adhere bunny ears to face and then card front with dimensionals.
10. Punch large circles from Owl Builder Punch from Whisper White cardstock scrap; cut in half and add marks with Basic Gray marker to make toes.
11. Adhere to edge of basket.
12. Stamp 'Happy Easter' on Whisper White cardstock scrap; punch out using Word Window Punch and adhere to card front.
