Dashing Deer Project Sheet

Have you had a chance to check out the New Holiday Catalog? If you don't have one yet, you can download your own catalog right HERE! 

One of my favorites is the Dashing Deer Bundle.
I love the detail on the stamp set and the matching thinlits. And, the black glittered ribbon is GORGEOUS in person!!  Add the black foil sheets, and you've got an elegant card. I hope you enjoy it, too.

• Stamp Pads– Memento Black (132708)
• Misc.- Big Shot (143263); Detailed Deer Thinlits (147915); Sprig Punch (148012); Black Glittered Ribbon (147897); Stampin' Dimensionals (104430); Mini Glue Dots (103683)

Measurements:

• Whisper White Thick Cardstock: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” score at 4-1/4"
• Basic Black Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”
• Whisper White Cardstock: 3-3/4” x 5”
• Real Red Cardstock: 3-3/4” x 2” 
• Old Olive Cardstock: 2” x 3”
• Black Foil Sheet: 3” x 4” 
• Black Glittered Ribbon: 10”

Instructions:

• Ink the Buffalo Check stamp with Black Memento ink; stamp onto the Real Red cardstock; attach this to the Whisper White cardstock.
• Stamp the sentiment in Memento Ink on the Whisper White cardstock above the buffalo check.
• Punch out 2 sprigs from the Old Olive cardstock using the Sprig Punch. Attach these to the Real Red cardstock under the sentiment.
• Tie a bow in the Black Glittered Ribbon and wrap the ribbon around the top of the Real Red cardstock and secure to the backside with tape.
• Attach these layers to the Thick Whisper White card base.
• Use the Big Shot and the Detailed Deer Thinlits to cut the “jumping deer” out of the Black Foil Sheet. Attach this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots.

Measurements:

• Soft Suede Cardstock: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”; 3-1/2” x 3-1/2”; 3” x 1/2”
• Shaded Spruce Cardstock: 5-1/4” x 4” 
• Whisper White Cardstock: 3” x 3”; 3’ x 1/2"
• Mango Melody Cardstock 4” x 2-3/4”
• DSP: 4” x 2-1/4”

Instructions:

1. Take your large piece of Soft Suede cardstock and fold in half for your card base.
2. Emboss your piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock with the Tufted Embossing folder.
3. Punch your scrap piece of Soft Suede and Whisper White with the classic label punch.
4. Stamp your sentiment on your punched Whisper White scrap piece with the Soft Suede ink and then adhere over top of the Soft Suede punched scrap and set to the side.
5. Stamp your image to color onto your 3x3 piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
6. Color your image as desired using the Stampin’ Blends markers.
7. Die cut the appropriate sized scalloped frame using the Layering Squares framelits out of the square piece of Soft Suede cardstock and adhere your colored image to the top.
8. Assemble your DSP atop of the Mango Melody card stock and then adhere to the embossed Shaded Spruce cardstock. Then adhere the colored framed image and the sentiment where desired.
9. Finally, adhere your card front to your card base.
