Tailored Tag Punch Hand-Penned DSP Project Sheet

This card layout is a great way to use all those Designer Series Paper (DSP) scraps you have. Any designer paper will do (and it's on sale through August 2nd)!

Tailored Tag Punch Hand-Penned DSP

Supplies:

  • Stamp Sets – Hand-Penned Petals (155070)

  • Paper – Basic White Thick Cardstock (159229); Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper (DSP) (155499)

  • Stamp Pads – Memento Tuxedo Black (132708)

  • Misc. – Tailored Tag Punch (145667); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Loose Flower Flourishes (155808); Mini Glue Dots (103683).

Measurements:

  • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”; 
    scrap for Sentiment cropped with punch

  • Basic White: 3” x 3” (punched sentiment)

  • DSP: Punch 10 shapes with Tailored Tag Punch of different designs using both sides

Instructions:

  1. Stamp sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto 3 x 3 Basic White Cardstock. 
    Punch with the Tailored Tag Punch. 
    Adhere to center of folded card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

  2. Punch 10 shapes of Hand-Penned DSP with the Tailored Tag Punch. 
    Assemble as shown on card above, starting closest to the sentiment, working your way out.
    Adhere with     Multipurpose Liquid Glue. 
    Trim the pieces along the edge as needed.
    TIP: Use the trimmed pieces to fill in other areas.

  3. Finish the card with (2) Pale Papaya Loose Flower Flourishes using Mini Glue Dots.

Turtle Friends Card Project Sheet

Turtle Friends

Supplies:

  • Stamp Sets: Turtle Friends (155356) Bundled with Turtle Punch 10% discount (155819)

  • Inks: Evening Evergreen (155576); Soft Succulent (155778); Poppy Parade (147050); Memento Ink Tuxedo Black (132708) 

  • Paper: 2021-2023 In Color 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (DSP) (155641); Evening Evergreen (155574); Soft Succulent (155776); Basic White (159276)

  • Other: Turtle Punch (155372); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Scalloped Contours (155560); 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (155571); Stampin' Dimensionals (104430); Stampin' Seal (152813)

Measurements:

  • Soft Succulent Cardstock: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”; scrap for turtle

  • Basic White Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”

  • DSP piece: 5-1/4” x 4” 

Instructions:

  1. Fold Soft Succulent card in half and adhere the DSP to the front of the card.

  2. Cut out of the scalloped rectangle using the Scalloped Contour dies with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

  3. Stamp the turtle in Memento Ink Tuxedo Black on scrap Soft Succulent cardstock. 

  4. Stamp the turle shell using Evening Evergreen ink.

  5. Punch out the turtle using the turtle punch.

  6. Stamp the bird, birthday hat and birthday greeting using the Poppy Parade ink.

  7. Add the Scallop rectangle to the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

  8. Add the In Color jewels.

  • Stamp Sets – Sending Hugs Bundle (155859)

  • Card Stock – Evening Evergreen (155574); Soft Succulent (155776); Very Vanilla (101650); Gold Foil Sheets (132622); Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper (155464)

  • Stamp Pads – Evening Evergreen (155576)

  • Misc. – Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (152725); Metallic Pearls (146282); Adhesive Sheets (152334); Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108); Stampin’ Seal (152813); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)

Measurements:

  • Evening Evergreen: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”; 1-1/2” X 3-1/2”

  • Very Vanilla: (2) 4” X 5-1/4”

  • Soft Succulent: 3-7/8” X 5-1/8”; 3/8” X 2-1/2”

  • Gold Foil: 3-1/4” X 4-1/2”

  • Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper 3-1/8” X 4-3/8”; 3/4” X 4”

Instructions:

  1. Fold your Evening Evergreen card base in half to create your card.

  2. Using Cut & Emboss Machine, emboss the Soft Succulent card stock using Ornate Floral Embossing Folder.

  3. Attach to the Very Vanilla card stock.

  4. Attach to your card front.

  5. Die cut out the center of the Gold Foil using the Hugs with Flowers die.

  6. Attach the Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper to the Gold Foil.

  7. Attach a piece of Adhesive Sheet 1-1/2” X 3-1/2” to the Evening Evergreen card stock and die cut out the word Hugs.

  8.  Attach the letters to the Gold Foil die cut piece.

  9. Pop up on your card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

  10. On the strip of Soft Succulent card stock stamp the Sending You sentiment using Evening Evergreen ink. 

  11. Pop up in the upper left hand corner as shown using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Trim off the excess following the top and sides as shown.

  12. Attach Gold Metallic Pearls as shown.

  13. Attach the strip of Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper to the left hand side of the Very Vanilla card stock. Attach to the inside of your card.
