Adorable Owls Oval Fun Fold Card

Supplies:

• Stamp Sets – Adorable Owls (160269)

• Card Stock – Thick Basic White (159229); Basic White (159276)

• Stamp Pads – Memento Tuxedo Black (132708)

• Misc. – Brights 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper (DSP) (159258); Stampin’ Blends Highland Heather Combo (154887); Stampin Blends Smoky Slate Combo (154904); Stampin Blends Soft Suede Combo (154906); Stampin Blends Crumb Cake Combo (154882); Stampin Blends Daffodil Delight Combo (154883); White 1/4” Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (151326); Framed Florets Dies (160623); Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (150673); Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108); Stampin’ Seal (152813); Mini Glue Dots (103683)

Measurements:

• Basic White: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 1-1/4” and 4-1/4” along the long side 

                       3” x 8-1/2” strip

• DSP: 2-3/4” x 5-1/4” 

           (2) 1” x 5-1/4” (optional scrap for inside card: 1-1/4” x 5-1/4”)

• Seam Binding Ribbon: 20” 

Instructions:

1. Adhere the largest piece of Designer Series Paper to the front left side of card, then fold back the DSP to the flap and inside right edge of the card.

2. Cut both of the oval frames from the dies out of the white 8-1/2” strip. On the larger oval center, stamp the flying owl toward the top, and a sentiment beneath it in black ink. In the smaller oval center, stamp the bow-tie owl. Color both owls with Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut the bow tie owl.

3. Adhere the textured frame to the edge of the oval with the flying owl, then adhere the framed oval to the front of the card on the flap that is folded back ONLY. Attach bow-tie owl below that with dimensionals.

   
   
   
   

4. Tie a double bow with the white seam binding ribbon and adhere to left side of oval frame with glue dot.
