Fable Friends Project Sheet

This is one of my favorite sets from the Occasions Catalog and I was one happy girl when I saw that this stamp set is carrying over into the new Annual Catalog (starts June 3rd). WooHoo!!!

Supplies: 

• STAMPS – Fable Friends (148670 Cling)
• PAPER –Whisper White (100730), So Saffron (105118), Flirty Flamingo (141416)
• INK –– Black Memento (132708), Flirty Flamingo (147052)
• OTHER –Rectangle Stitched Shape Framelits (148551), Climbing Vine Embossing Folder (147187), All My Love Ribbon Combo (148584), Triple Banner Punch (138292), Crumb Cake Combo Stampin Blends (144601), Daffodil Delight Combo Stampin Blends (144603), Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin Blends (147031), Light Old Olive Stampin Blends (144574), Pool Party Combo Stampin Blends (144605), Color Lifter (144608), Glue Dots (103683)

Cutting & Scoring: 

• Crumb Cake – 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, score and fold at 4-1/4”
• So Saffron – 4 x 5-1/4”
• Whisper White – scrap to die-cut and punch, 1/2 x 3” Strip for sentiment
• Flirty Flamingo – 2-3/8 x 3-3/4”

Instructions:

• Emboss So Saffron panel with Climbing Vine Folder and adhere to Crumb Cake Card.
• Stamp Bunny on Stitched Rectangle in Memento ink and add grass to create the ground. Color with Blends as shown.
• Embellish with a bow tied from Flirty Flamingo Ribbon and adhere with a glue dot.
• Adhere to Flirty Flamingo Layer and pop up onto card.
• Stamp Sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink and punch ends with Triple Banner Punch. Adhere to card as shown.

NEW 2019-2021 In Color Names

If you've had a chance to look carefully at the list of price changes coming in the new 2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog, you may have noticed the names of the upcoming In Colors! If you haven't, let me announce them now ... Introducing (drum roll please) ...

• Pretty Peacock
• Purple Posy
• Rococo Rose
• Seaside Spray
• Terracotta Tile

We won't get to actually SEE them until Friday (for some demos), so we don't know what they look like yet. But the names are certainly intriguing, are they not??? Being the lover of all things blue (or blue-green), I'm excited about Pretty Peacock and Seaside Spray!

I noticed most of the price increases are on the paper products (cardstock, DSP, envelopes, etc.) with a few exceptions. They range from 25 cents to a dollar, and aren't that bad. I also noticed the names of the upcoming DSP!!! *GASP!* (And something else, but you have to look; I'm not going to tell you.)

So, if you already planned on getting some extra cutting blades for your paper trimmer before they're gone, why not add some cardstock before the price goes up? It's certainly not going to go bad before you use it! Click here to see the list.

Keep in mind these price increases begin with the new catalog on June 4th, and you can't order the new In Colors until then. Or can you?

If you join my stamping team before then, you'll get to preorder them in May before everyone else gets their mitts on them! Just sayin' ......

Sale-a-Bration Country Floral Folder Projects

This is such a versatile embossing folder as you can see by the card samples above.

For the top card, white cardstock was embossed and then colored. You can use markers, blends, sponge daubers, chalks, aqua painters or any other coloring method you like.

The card on the left was only embossed. This adds a great texture to any card.

To create the lower right card, apply ink directly to the inside of the embossing folder, then run it thru the Big Shot. This gives you the ability to have ANY color background.
