Golden Christmas Project Sheet

GOLDEN CHRISTMAS

All images © 1990-2015 Stampin’ Up!®
Supplies:
  • Stamp Sets: Oh, Come All Ye Faithful #139901
  • Inks: Versamark #102283
  • Paper: Very Vanilla Cardstock #101650, Gold Foil #132622, Winter Wonderland Vellum Paperstack #139594
  • Other: Square Framelits collection #130921, Gold Embossing Powder #109129, Gold Satin ribbon #134547, Crochet Trim #134581, Metal Rim Pearls #138394
Measurement:
Very Vanilla Cardstock – 1 piece 8.5” x 4.25”, 1 scrappiece to use for wiseman, verse
Gold Foil – 4” x 5.25”
Vellum piece – 3.75 x 5”
Ribbon – approx. 5.5” for front of card of satin & crochet
for bow – length will depend on how big you want loops/tails

Instructions:
  1. Cut all cardstock
  2. Fold ½ sheet of very vanilla cardtock and lay gold foil paper on front of card – do not adhere
  3. Open card up and lay on magnetic platform - position 2.” square framelit over top of gold/vanilla layer (it will cut both at same time)
  4. Lay vellum piece under opening and mark gently with pencil
  5. Position 2.5” square framelit over marked area and die cut (remember this framelit is .5” bigger so you will not see any lines after cutting)
  6. Layer vellum to gold foil front – I chose to run a strip of adhesive where I would place the ribbon and use one glue dot in each upper corner
  7. Layer ribbon (gold satin first, then crochet trim over top edge of satin) to front of vellum/gold piece and fold ends to back of card
  8. Adhere to front of vanilla base centering openings
  9. Emboss wisemen and verse on scrap vanilla cardstock
  10. Emboss Joseph/Mary in opening of very vanilla cardstock
  11. Cut wise with paper snips, tuck under edge of ribbon
  12. Cut verse and adhere
  13. Tie Bow with crochet trim adhere
  14. Add large metal rimmed pearl
  15. Add inside greeting, sign and wish someone Merry Christmas

RETIRING LIST FOR HOLIDAY CATALOG

This is the first time Stampin' Up! has done this and they tell me that they will continue to do this for all catalogs! The list comes out Monday, Nov. 16th..  In the meantime, go thru your catalog and write down your favorites. If they happen to be on the retired list, you can order them before they are gone for good.  I don't know if the prices will be discounted.

Stampin' Up! Pillow Box Thinlits Die

I'm really loving this great thinlit set - it comes with the pillow box thinlit AND some fun accessories.
There are two "squares" for cutting windows in your pillow box, a snowflake, some pumpkins, leaves, trees and a candy cane.  What fun!  Good for most occasions!

Here's an "autumn" box which I think is super cute!

These would be great treats for Thanksgiving!
Can you see the corrugated paper used for the acorn?  Really neat!  It's a product that is new in the annual catalog (page 148).  It comes in Kraft and White!  Love it!!

What a neat way to dress up your table!

Product List

One more that I just LOVE, using the Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper.
This paper is to DIE for - it's printed with metallic ink on one side and just shines!

What fun to fill it with special treats!
The picture definitely does do it justice!!
I hope you've enjoyed these projects.  To order any of the products, just click on an image and it will take you to my online store. Or, you can click HERE to start shopping.
