The Creativity Team has been hard at work planning your exclusive Crafting Escape, an event designed especially to take you away from the fatigue of being confined, isolated, and cut off from people and things you love to do. We are so excited to offer this event for you!
This virtual/online event will begin at 7 PM (PT) Friday, January 22, 2021, with introductions and exciting, informative presentations. We’ll pick up again at 9 AM (PT) Saturday, January 23. We anticipate about 2 hours on Friday night and between 4-5 hours on Saturday. Information is provided to help answer questions you may have about this totally revamped, expanded, and value-packed event.
REGISTRATION is now open (cost is just $35) and you need to register by January 4. You’ll find the registration form and more details at the end of this message.
Our team has been providing retreats for a couple years and surveys say people have found them inspiring, fun, and creatively informative. It has been great to have you follow us on our journey to give you increasingly better and greater crafting experiences. This will be our third major event and we are hopeful that each time, with circumstances and situations worldwide taken into consideration, we are providing the kind of escape you need to recharge your creative juices.

Between us, we offer more than 53 years of experience demonstrating fabulous Stampin’ Up! projects for you. This year we are adding a bevy of NEW demonstrators who will be helping us expand your Stampin’ Up! horizons. This gives you a wider range of exciting perspectives on the paper crafting experience and keeps things fresh and lively. Our goal in working together is to provide an exciting, enjoyable, and great learning and crafting experience for you.
Join us for this truly special event. We have so many terrific ideas to share with you about stamping and creating, and we have some awesome ways to incorporate the new January-June Mini and Sale-A- Bration catalogs into your crafting experience.
Participants will receive an exclusive link and password to the private Zoom session* about a week prior to the Crafting Escape. On Friday, January 22, at 7 PM, you’ll get to meet the team and participating demonstrators and learn a little about each of us, how the “escape” will work, and see some new products demonstrated! This is a new feature, and we think it will be enormously popular!
* NOTE: The invitation to join the Zoom session, as well as other communication about this event, will be sent to the email address you provide on your registration form. Make sure that is your current email so you don't miss anything.
In addition to live sessions featured during the exclusive Zoom session, there will also be recorded sessions. You’ll be able to “escape” to see at least 10 different presentations! If you can't join live, that's okay. And. . . since this is a virtual event, you can join us from anyplace in the world! Once you register, you will have access to the recording of the Crafting Escape and can go back and watch everything for a full 30 days after the event.
Cost of the retreat is just $35. Here’s what you get:
At least 10 Stamping Presentations, each with several projects presented.
At least 5 Make-n-Takes with new products from 5 of the suites or bundles in the January-June Mini Catalog.
Written tutorials for Make-n-Take projects.
A PRIZE in every SWAG (Stuff We All Get) Bag, which will contain your Make-n-Takes.
An opportunity to share your own creative work as you use our ideas to make your own projects.
An email giving you access to tutorials and videos (perfect if you can’t participate in the live Zoom sessions) of the event for up to 30 days after the Crafting Escape.

I have never used Zoom or I do not have a Zoom account. How do I use it or set it up? Can I still register?
Yes, please DO register! A Zoom account is free. You DO NOT need to sign up for a paid account to participate. You need to download the web client (if using a computer) or Zoom App (if using a mobile device). Either download is FREE. You will not be able to participate via the Zoom website.
We can walk you through setting up your free account so you can join the fun. Not only is it free, it’s a secure and safe form of connecting. Please understand that we can only help you get set up with Zoom BEFORE January 21. After that, we will be fully immersed in finalizing things for your Crafting Escape and will not be able to tear ourselves away to work on Zoom set up. Be sure you don’t wait until the last minute to get your Zoom account set up.
How do I know what stamps I need?
While all the projects are designed to be generic so you can use any
stamps, inks and adhesives that you have in coordination with the
Make-n-Takes you’ll receive in your SWAG Bag, you will also have the
option of purchasing the new stamp set, Happy Thoughts (designed
by million-dollar earner, Jackie Bolhuis), as an add-on to your
registration fee. If you choose this option, we are confident you will
be able to make what we share!
Will I be stamping my Make-n-Takes with you?
We understand that everyone stamps at a different pace, but we also know
that many of you prefer to stamp at the same time and be active
participants in the creative process. Therefore, the presentations are
designed to allow you to stamp "along with us." We will share the
Make-n-Take projects and teach you how to make them. The project pieces
and supplies will be sent to you prior to the event and will include the
precut, pre-embossed card stock and embellishments needed to complete
your project. We will also be sure you have the tutorial, which will
list all the supplies and cutting dimensions and will provide
instructions. This will make it easy for you to complete the projects
along with us but at your own speed and with your own extra supplies.
What if I need more time to finish my Make-n-Takes?
The recording will be available to view so it will give you all you need to follow along and complete your projects.
What if I am not available the day of the ‘Escape?’ Or what if the time zone doesn't work?
This is where Zoom and being able to record the event excels! On about
January 25, you will receive an email with links to the tutorials and
all of the videos. You can go to the recording and watch replays if you
missed us when we were live. You will have access to the Zoom recording
for 30 days after Crafting Escape.
Can I join in if I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator?
ABSOLUTELY, YES! We love sharing with other demonstrators! You can even
invite your own team and customers and share the experience with them.
It saves you so much time from creating it all on your own.
Can I join if I don't live in the US?
YES! You just won't be able to get the SWAG Bag (we can only mail those within the US).

Crafting Escape is a fun-filled event of demonstrations to inspire your creativity! There will be live and recorded demonstrations on Zoom that will give you ideas about how to use products from the Annual, January-June Mini and Sale-A-Bration catalogs. This exclusive Zoom event is being held January 22 and 23, 2021.
Registration opens December 19, 2020 and closes January 4, 2021. Please join me, Debbie Flattum, and other participating demonstrators from the comfort of your own home, using your exclusive Zoom session password (you will receive it about a week prior to Crafting Escape). You are welcome...and encouraged to register with friends. If you have a group of 5 or more who register together*, each of you will save $5 on your registration. . . you will each pay just $30! You must register together to get this special price.
Part of my downline? Invite friends and family members who may be interested in becoming part of your own stamping group. This is a great way to find new stampers to get excited about becoming your customers.
All registrations are final. . . sorry, we cannot refund once your registration has been sent. Based on registrations, materials are ordered and prepared so all registrations need to be complete by January 4. (Exception: Those who want to watch the video only. You will not receive any make-n-takes, extra products, or SWAG BAG. To register to watch only, be sure you mark the registration form appropriately and you may register until January 20.)
*To register together, make sure you provide your name on the list of five participants, along with the names of the people registering with you in the section provided. The discount will be applied only if all 5 people pay and are registered. If you prefer, I can send you a single bill so everyone’s registration fee will be covered and delays will be eliminated.
