Sparkling Snowflakes Tea Light

Measurements:

  • Misty Moonlight Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″; Score on the long side at 2-3/4”, 5-1/2” and 8-1/4”. 

  • Basic White Thick: 4-1/4” x 11”; Score on the long side at 2-3/4”, 5-1/2” and 8-1/4”

  • Basic White: 2-1/2” x 2-1/2, (2) 2” x 4”

  • Vellum: (2) 2-1/2” x 4”

  • Beary DSP Red Print: (2) 2-1/2” x 4”; (2) 2-1/4” x 3-3/4”

  • Night of Navy: (2) 2-1/2” x 4”

  • Ribbon: 8”

Instructions:

  1. Cut a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock to 4-1/4” x 11”. Score on the long side at 2-3/4”, 5-1/2” and 8-1/4”. Fold in half on the 5-1/2” score line and then fold the other two score lines back on themselves. 

  2. Cut a piece of Basic White Thick cardstock to 4-1/4” x 11”. Score on the long side at 2-3/4”, 5-1/2” and 8-1/4”. Fold in half on the 5-1/2” score line and then fold the other two score lines back on themselves.

  3. Using the fourth largest die from the Countryside Corners dies, cut out windows from the two middle panels of the piece of Basic White Thick cardstock. 

  4. Cut two pieces of Vellum cardstock to 2-1/2” x 4” and emboss with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere these to the back side of the windows that were cut from the Basic White Thick cardstock base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Set aside to let dry. You may want to place a large clear block as weight on top to hold in place while it dries. 

  5. Cut two pieces of the red print DSP to 2-1/2” x 4” and adhere to the two middle panels of the Misty Moonlight.

  6. Cut two pieces of the red print DSP to 2-1/4” x 3-3/4” and adhere them to two pieces of Night of Navy cardstock that have been cut to 2-1/2” x 4”. 

  7. Adhere these two layers to the outside panels of the Basic White card base.

  8. Lay the Basic White cardstock layer on top of the Misty Moonlight cardstock layer and adhere the outside panels together.

  9. Using the third largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes dies, cut one from a piece of Basic White cardstock that measures 2-1/2” x 2-1/2”. Stamp the largest snowflake image on the circle in Balmy Blue ink. Stamp the “Winter Greetings” sentiment on top of the snowflake in Misty Moonlight ink. Set aside. 

  10. Using the fourth largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes dies, cut 2 from a piece of Basic White cardstock that measures 2” x 4”. Stamp the smallest snowflake image on one of the circles in Misty Moonlight ink and set aside. Stamp the smallest snowflake image on the second circle in Balmy Blue ink and then stamp the “Let It Snow” sentiment on top of the snowflake in Misty Moonlight ink. Set aside. 

  11. Adhere the “Winter Greetings” sentiment circle to the left panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

  12. Adhere the Misty Moonlight snowflake circle to the left vellum window with Stampin’ Dimensionals in the bottom right corner. 

  13. Adhere an 8” piece of looped ribbon to the right panel over the DSP with adhesive. Trim the ends of the ribbon. 

  14. Add the “Let It Snow” sentiment circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

  15. Add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.
